Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will serve as a critical bridge between Mistral's science and engineering organizations and the marketing and sales teams. Your mission is to translate complex AI/ML concepts into compelling technical content that educates enterprise decision-makers, aligns technical capabilities with business objectives, and accelerates sales cycles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating technical content across multiple formats: launch materials, proof points, presentation decks, demo videos, webinars, workshops, blogs, whitepapers, and sales training materials
- Enabling sales teams and partners with deep technical knowledge to engage credibly with technical stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborating on model launches to ensure technical messaging is clear, accurate, and impactful
- Participating in analyst briefings, technical advisory boards, and industry standards discussions to position Mistral as a thought leader
- Working with solutions architects and developer relations to ensure seamless integration and implementation through targeted technical content
- Acting as the technical liaison between engineering, science, and marketing, translating LLM concepts (pre-training, post-training techniques) into actionable insights for enterprise audiences
You bring 3+ years of experience in technical marketing, solutions engineering, or similar roles, ideally in AI/ML or enterprise software. You have a strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with enterprise AI solutions, cloud environments, and technical sales enablement is essential. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is preferred.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AI/ML models in technical marketing or solutions engineering contexts, thrive in fast-paced innovative environments, have a track record of creating technical content that drives adoption, and are based in or willing to relocate to Paris or open to regular travel.
