Salary: USD 91,770 - 100,000 / annual
Flywire is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager II to lead client onboarding and integration activities for its payments platform. This role bridges the gap between sales, relationship management, and product teams, ensuring clients successfully implement Flywire's APIs, Payment Checkouts, and Recurring Payments solutions.
You will serve as a subject matter expert guiding clients through Discovery, Portal configuration, Integration, Testing, and Go-live stages. Key responsibilities include consulting clients on platform implementation, leading multiple concurrent implementation projects, running workshops and client syncs, providing post-implementation support, and troubleshooting integration issues. You'll also develop product documentation with the Product team, drive continuous improvement in implementation processes, and relay client feedback to inform product strategy.
This is a people-management role: you will lead implementation projects, mentor team members, and foster an improving culture within the implementation organization. You'll work closely with North America Sales and Relationship Management teams to ensure onboarding excellence and smooth customer experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (French a bonus)
- 4+ years of Technical Support, Consulting, Implementation, Professional Services, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of system integrations and different project methodologies
- Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills (written and oral)
- Experience implementing and configuring software (payment software preferred)
- Familiarity with APIs or JavaScript libraries
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Higher Education or ERP systems (Xetta, Ellucian, StarRez, Oracle PeopleSoft, OpenApply, Slate, Salesforce)
- Experience with Fintech, Technology, or Consulting companies
- Background in Higher Education (Business Office, Cashiering, Financial Aid, Reconciliation)
- Programming language knowledge (JavaScript, Liquid, Java, SQL, Python)
Technologies: Zendesk, Postman, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, Sumologic, Cursor, Claude, Google Suite.
