ChowNow is a leading off-premise restaurant technology platform serving thousands of restaurants across North America. The company processes $1B+ in gross food sales and has saved partners over $700M in third-party commission fees through its white-label ordering solutions, demand network integrations (Google, Yelp, Apple, Snap), and diner-friendly marketplace.
The Senior Director, GTM Revenue Operations is the strategic and technical backbone of ChowNow's Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success operations. This is an operator and systems-architect role, not a reporting-and-dashboards function. You will diagnose process friction across the GTM motion, architect solutions as part of a coherent system, and lead the effort to unwind years of technical debt across Salesforce, HubSpot, PlanHat, Gong, PartnerStack, LeanData, and Bookit.
You will lead three key functions: a Sales & CS Business Ops partner (embedded in sales/CS, diagnosing friction), a Marketing & Partner Ops Manager (HubSpot admin, demand and partner tech stack), and a Business Systems team (core systems builders). Your role is to ensure these three functions operate as one connected system, translating GTM needs into technical requirements and technical constraints back into GTM strategy. You will report directly to the CEO and manage 5-7 direct reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deep immersion in how Sales, Onboarding, and CS operate; partnering with the Sales & CS Business Partner to diagnose blockers and friction
- Turning diagnosed problems into defined solutions (workflows, process redesigns, system architecture)
- Managing and developing the Sales & CS Business Partner and Marketing & Partner Ops Manager
- Acting as systems architect across the GTM stack, thinking through full chain of impact before changes
- Leading the effort to unwind technical debt: legacy customizations, redundant automations, fragile integrations
- Setting technical standards and review processes for scalable change
- Directly managing the Business Systems team and prioritizing their roadmap
- Owning connective tissue between diagnosis, sales/CS execution, and marketing/partner execution
- Territory and compensation planning infrastructure, forecasting rigor, cross-functional alignment
- Advising CEO on process and systems risks, opportunities, and sequencing
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Revenue Operations experience in a SaaS environment, including meaningful hands-on systems/technical capacity (not purely reporting or analytics)
- 5+ years managing a team across RevOps, MarOps, CS Ops, and Business Systems (Salesforce)
- Deep, practical fluency in Salesforce and HubSpot; experience with PlanHat, Gong, PartnerStack, and LeanData is a strong plus
- Direct experience untangling legacy systems, customizations, or technical debt (not just building net-new)
- Systems thinking: naturally trace proposed fixes through everything they touch before committing to a build
- Proven track record translating messy, ambiguous business pain points into clear technical solutions and executing them
- Comfort being both strategic (advising leadership on sequencing and risk) and deeply hands-on (reviewing workflows or automations)
- Experience partnering with Sales, CS, and Marketing leadership; credibility speaking to both reps and engineers
- Experience managing compensation, territory, or forecasting infrastructure
