Salary: USD 118,000 - 147,000 / annual

Notion is seeking a Technical Education Specialist to build and deliver technical education content as the product expands. You'll be the technical face of Notion Academy, creating technically accurate learning materials that help customers confidently adopt new capabilities. In this role, you'll explore Notion's newest features, teach through workshops and video walkthroughs, and build implementation guides. You'll work across multiple formats—live webinars, recorded tutorials, and Help Center resources—to make complex capabilities accessible. You'll get hands-on with new product features, use customer insights to identify high-value use cases, and determine which workflows should be prioritized for education. Key responsibilities include: - Authoring technically rigorous Academy content, implementation guides, and Help Center resources - Teaching customers through video, live webinars, and workshops, demonstrating real workflows and solving problems in real time - Building with Notion's newest capabilities and identifying high-value use cases - Experimenting with adaptive, contextual learning experiences powered by AI - Measuring the impact of technical education through product adoption signals and building reusable standards for the team The role is based in New York City with hybrid work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days). You'll work alongside the team in person on those days. REQUIREMENTS: - Builder mindset: learn new product features by getting hands-on, experimenting, and building until you understand - Comfort navigating technical content: ability to read technical architecture docs, identify outdated information, and work with engineers to fix it (coding not required) - Customer-facing credibility: comfortable teaching, building, and troubleshooting in front of customers - AI experimentation: actively use AI to build, learn, and teach technical proficiency - Product expertise: quickly understand new features, identify customer value, and turn insights into practical use cases NICE TO HAVES: - Notion product expertise - Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, sales engineering, developer relations, or technical enablement
