Amca is building America's new industrial base by rapidly developing and manufacturing critical components and subsystems for aviation, military, and infrastructure platforms. The company operates seven factories nationwide and delivers avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for platforms including the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, and M1 Abrams. As Technical Editor, you will translate Amca's engineering and manufacturing capabilities into credible, technically-grounded content for engineering recruits and end customers in defense and aerospace sectors. You will report to the Senior Manager of Creative and Marketing and sit on the Growth team. Key responsibilities include: 1. Own Amca's relationships with external platforms and networks, serving as the primary point of contact and executing editorial opportunities (sponsored content, contributed articles, engagement) aligned with company brand standards. 2. Own the go-to-market strategy for Amca's product development platform, RAPID. Develop clear, technically honest, and compelling communications for engineers, program managers, and government leaders. Collaborate with the creative and design teams to produce technical explainers, one-pagers, and social content. 3. Produce a steady monthly cadence of technical content for social platforms. Publish short-form technical content exemplifying Amca's work while ensuring all public-facing technical content is accurate, credible, and consistent with company values. 4. Serve as the primary technical contributor on multi-media spanning long-form writing (op-eds, blog posts, industry publications), video (long and short form), events, and branded materials. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accuracy and with leadership to develop communications about the industrial base. Maintain deep awareness of industry publications to sharpen Amca's position in policy discourse. The ideal candidate has direct experience in technical journalism, product marketing, or engineering. You are inherently creative, an expert communicator, and exercise exceptional judgment. The role will expand as the company grows rapidly.
