Browserbase is hiring a Technical Customer Success Manager to own the post-sale lifecycle for customers using their AI-powered headless browser infrastructure platform. The role bridges Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive adoption, ensure customer success, and shape the customer experience.
You'll own customer relationships from onboarding through renewal and expansion, working closely with technical stakeholders including engineers, product leaders, and founders. Key responsibilities include reading code and debugging issues alongside customers, continuously improving workflows to ensure measurable value, building long-term partnerships, and communicating customer needs back to Product and Engineering.
You'll drive product adoption and identify expansion opportunities, proactively manage at-risk accounts with recovery plans, and own renewal outcomes end-to-end—building ROI cases, navigating objections, and closing renewals independently or with Sales support. You'll create scalable customer success processes, documentation, and playbooks, run quarterly and executive business reviews with stakeholders, and maintain a multi-dimensional view of account health using usage data, adoption metrics, and relationship sentiment.
The role requires 2+ years in Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar positions. You need strong technical aptitude—comfortable discussing APIs, infrastructure, and developer workflows—with a proven track record driving retention and expansion in high-growth environments. You're self-motivated, relationship-oriented, and excited about long-term customer partnerships in a fast-paced startup setting.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with web automation frameworks (Stagehand, Playwright, Selenium), developer tools, AI infrastructure, or technical SaaS, plus experience running QBRs or EBRs with executives. Browserbase is Series B-funded by Kleiner Perkins and CRV, crossed $6M revenue last year, and is growing rapidly. The team is fully in-office 5 days a week in downtown San Francisco with a collaborative, high-ownership culture.
