Wiz is a fast-growing cloud and AI security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100 to scan and secure over 230 billion files daily. The company recently became powered by Google, integrating Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations into its platform.
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the West region, you will be the primary technical advisor and trusted partner for a book of up to 15 customers throughout their Wiz journey—from initial onboarding through operationalization, renewal, and expansion. You'll combine deep product expertise with strong customer-facing skills to drive adoption, business value realization, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
• Serve as the primary technical contact for your customer base, providing strategic and technical guidance on deployment, configuration, and operationalization of the Wiz platform using cloud-security best practices.
• Develop and execute customer success plans with measurable goals aligned with organizational security and compliance objectives, proactively leading customers toward full adoption and value realization.
• Monitor emerging cloud security threats and stay current on new Wiz features and functionality to maintain expert-level product knowledge.
• Act as the bridge between customers and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support), streamlining collaboration to deliver a cohesive customer experience and resolving adoption blockers.
• Manage your book of business to support revenue objectives, identifying expansion opportunities, securing renewals, and tracking utilization and adoption targets.
• Advocate for customer needs by capturing feature requests and adoption blockers, liaising with Product and Engineering teams to determine priority and alternative solutions.
• Communicate progress and results to key stakeholders through executive-friendly communications, QBRs, and executive briefings.
• Contribute to scaling the TAM organization at a hyper-growth company by developing documentation, mentoring associate TAMs, and driving improvements in Wiz's TAM motion.
You'll need 5–8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Success Engineer, or Architect), ideally supporting cloud or cloud-security products. A B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Technical qualifications include strong understanding of cloud services and architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI), familiarity with cloud-security best practices and CNAPP use cases, knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security considerations, and familiarity with DevOps technologies (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code). Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect, cloud-security certifications) are a plus.
