Dataiku is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as a highly experienced architect supporting a small portfolio of strategic clients (approximately 3 per TAM). This role combines deep technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to manage complex customer relationships and drive technical success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers and internal account teams to identify priorities and develop engagement plans
- Manage project milestones in partnership with Customer Success Managers, providing regular status updates and proactively mitigating risks
- Serve as the central point for client technical information and contribute to account strategy
- Act as primary technical advisor for client teams across platform architecture, deployment, operations, upgrades, best practices, security, data management, compute resources, ML-Ops, monitoring, and scaling strategies
- Support Field Engineering team growth through documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing
- Assist clients with product integration and troubleshoot technical challenges
- Capture client feedback and feature requests for Product and Engineering teams
- Advise client tech leaders on complementary technologies and long-term technical strategy
- Explore and support advanced use cases including edge computing, deep learning, and MLOps
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years in customer-facing technical roles
- Native or bilingual English proficiency
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Experience with both pre- and post-sales engagements
- Linux system administration and networking proficiency
- Identity and access management tools experience (LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, IAM)
- Hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Kubernetes ecosystem expertise for setup, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning
- Familiarity with Hadoop and/or Spark ecosystems
Desirable Skills:
- Python experience
- Data science knowledge
- Basic Java knowledge
- ML-Ops practices and tools familiarity
