Wiz is a cloud and AI security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100 to scan and secure over 230 billion files daily. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in the Northeast region, you will be the primary technical advisor and strategic partner for a book of up to 15 customers, guiding them through their entire Wiz journey from onboarding through operationalization, renewal, and expansion.
You will serve as the bridge between customers and Wiz's internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support), ensuring cohesive customer experiences and driving adoption of the platform. Your responsibilities include:
**Technical Leadership & Expertise**: Act as a trusted technical advisor with deep knowledge of cloud security, cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), and Wiz's platform capabilities. Help customers navigate deployment, configuration, and operationalization using best practices. Stay current on emerging cloud security threats, new Wiz features, and industry developments.
**Customer Success & Value Realization**: Develop success plans with measurable goals aligned to customers' security and compliance objectives. Proactively lead customers toward full adoption, monitor their progress against business goals, and communicate results through executive briefings and QBRs. Help unblock adoption by resolving people, process, and technology issues across customer organizations.
**Business Development & Advocacy**: Manage your book of business to support revenue objectives, identify expansion opportunities, and assist in securing renewals. Advocate for customer needs internally, capturing feature requests and adoption blockers to share with Product and Engineering teams.
**Organization Building**: Contribute to scaling Wiz's TAM motion by developing documentation, mentoring associate TAMs, and driving improvements in processes and GTM collaboration.
You bring 5–8+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Success Engineer, or Architect). You hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. You have strong understanding of cloud services and architecture (ideally with CSP certification), familiarity with cloud-security best practices and CNAPP use cases, knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code), and the ability to navigate ambiguous responsibilities while actively shaping the TAM function.
