As a Technical Account Manager, you will own the customer success journey from contract signature through full operational adoption for enterprise clients. This hybrid role balances customer success and technical account leadership, with accountability for retention, adoption, and expansion. You will be the trusted bridge between Ambient's AI platform and customers' security, IT, and operations teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding customers through deployment and onboarding, translating technical capabilities into measurable operational outcomes, and maintaining momentum post-go-live. You will build credibility with both hands-on technical users and executive stakeholders, driving clarity when priorities or requirements become complicated.
Key responsibilities: Own customer outcomes from post-sale implementation through renewal and expansion; lead customers through deployment, onboarding, testing, training, and operational rollout; partner with stakeholders across security, IT, operations, and leadership to define goals and success criteria; develop deep proficiency in the Ambient.ai platform; navigate technical and operational complexity; build trusted relationships at all levels; capture customer feedback to inform product and go-to-market improvements; identify expansion opportunities; travel up to 30%.
Required qualifications: 7+ years in customer-facing roles such as Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or Field Engineering supporting complex enterprise technology; experience managing multi-stakeholder programs in enterprise environments; ability to learn sophisticated, configurable technology; customer-facing style combining structure, urgency, and relationship-building; strong problem-solving and judgment in ambiguous situations; excellent written and verbal communication; high ownership, adaptability, and follow-through.
Bonus experience includes enterprise SaaS, security technology, operationally complex environments, networking, infrastructure, systems integration, AI-driven products, consulting, transformation, or structured problem-solving with executive communication.
