Datadog is seeking a Technical Account Manager 2 for the EMEA region to serve as a trusted technical advisor to the company's largest customers. In this hybrid role based in Amsterdam, Dublin, or London, you will provide hands-on technical services, support product adoption, and ensure customer success across Datadog's comprehensive observability and security platform.
Key responsibilities include advising customers on technical support and product adoption aligned with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes. You will analyze customers' IT Operations environments regularly and provide recommendations to maximize Datadog's value. Acting as the customer's advocate, you'll understand their goals and use cases, suggesting process changes, product configurations, and additional features to meet their requirements.
You will participate in and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers, collaborate with Datadog's product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features and products, and continuously evolve best practices for technical product adoption and customer success.
Required qualifications include solid technical grounding and hands-on IT Operations experience. You should be confident with AWS, Azure, or GCP; comfortable with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, or PHP; skilled in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Gitlab; and knowledgeable about containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher. Previous experience as a TAM supporting mid-market and enterprise customers in the cloud space is essential, as is experience with Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools.
You must be able to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites via auto, train, or air. Datadog values diverse backgrounds and encourages applications from those passionate about technology even if you don't meet every qualification on day one.
