The Talk Therapy Clinical Lead will supervise a team of licensed therapists delivering virtual care across all 50 states, reporting to the senior behavioral health clinical leader. This is a hybrid role combining clinical leadership with a small direct caseload to maintain connection to frontline work.
Key responsibilities include: providing case consultations and treatment-plan reviews to ensure safe, evidence-based care; managing risk and crisis oversight for suicidal/homicidal ideation, abuse, mandated reporting, and clinical emergencies; conducting regular one-on-ones to support performance, retention, and clinician development; overseeing chart reviews and documentation quality; monitoring measurement-based care and outcome data; maintaining clinical protocols and safety workflows across all 50 states; onboarding and calibrating newly hired therapists; ensuring multi-state compliance with licensure and telehealth requirements; partnering with Clinical Operations on scheduling and continuity; and maintaining a small direct therapy caseload.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, or licensed psychologist) with 5+ years post-licensure clinical practice, 2+ years supervising or leading clinicians, and direct telehealth experience. You should be calm and decisive in clinical risk situations, comfortable articulating clinical standards and coaching teams toward them, and able to think about quality and access simultaneously. Experience with documentation review, outcome measurement, and quality oversight is essential. The role requires comfort in a fast-moving, remote, technology-forward environment and curiosity about how AI and tooling can enhance clinician work.
