Salary: USD 160,000 - 190,000 / annual

Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy and scale robotic systems in real-world environments. As Talent Management Partner, you will lead a comprehensive overhaul of Atoms' performance management and talent architecture. Your responsibilities include redesigning performance management systems (goal setting, review cycles, calibration) and moving away from heavy quarterly cycles toward a more sustainable rhythm. You'll own job architecture—defining roles, levels, and career paths across the organization—and build frameworks for cascading goals from company level through every team. You will design meaningful KPIs and performance measures for functions where success isn't purely metrics-driven, such as HR, legal, and operations. This is a hands-on role where you design and implement programs yourself, supported by the broader People team rather than managing a large direct team. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of end-to-end performance and talent management experience, including goal setting, performance cycles, calibration, and rollout. You should have strong command of job architecture, KPI design, and goal cascading. A data-driven, analytical approach to measuring performance and diagnosing what works is essential. You're a hands-on operator comfortable designing systems and implementing them. Experience in scale-ups, high-growth, or technology environments is valued. Atoms operates five days per week onsite in Los Angeles or San Francisco. The company is driven by invention and continuous change, reimagining industries and refining operations.
