Aurora is building self-driving technology to transform mobility and logistics. The Talent Management Lead will be a strategic HR partner responsible for designing and implementing company-wide talent management, succession planning, and performance management programs.
Key responsibilities include:
**Talent Management & Development:**
- Lead the design and administration of company-wide Talent Review and Succession Planning processes to identify, assess, and develop high-potential employees for critical roles
- Develop and manage career pathing frameworks and competency models that support employee growth and organizational agility
- Oversee targeted development programs including leadership training, mentorship initiatives, and skill-gap closure
- Integrate diversity and inclusion principles into all talent management and succession processes
**Performance Programs:**
- Own the end-to-end Performance Review cycle including objective setting, check-ins, year-end reviews, and calibration sessions
- Ensure the performance review system supports a high-performance culture with clear expectations, continuous feedback, and fair evaluation
- Educate managers and employees on performance management best practices and effective coaching techniques
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, ensure consistency across the organization, and recommend enhancements
- Partner with the People Technology team to design system enhancements that streamline processes and improve user experience
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep business acumen, data-driven decision-making capabilities, and expertise in HR best practices. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems without pre-existing playbooks, and leading organizational change. Strong consulting and partnering skills are essential to build credibility with business leaders across multiple teams.
