InnovaMat is a global edtech company transforming mathematics education through science-backed pedagogy, manipulative materials, and digital tools. The company operates across 9+ countries and is in an accelerated growth phase across Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru), with a regional hub in Mexico City coordinating with headquarters in Barcelona.
You will lead full-cycle recruitment for strategic vacancies across the LATAM region, supporting Commercial, Pedagogical Support/Math Specialists, Operations, and Support functions. Working closely with the TA Lead and hiring managers, you'll be responsible for building high-performing teams that drive the company's regional expansion and educational impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, evaluation, closing) for LATAM-wide roles
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, advising on regional labor market dynamics, talent mapping, structured feedback, and evaluation best practices
- Create proactive talent pipelines through active sourcing, networking, referral programs, university events, and engagement with educational/tech communities
- Generate talent intelligence by monitoring hiring trends, competitor mapping, and sector movements in LATAM
- Drive employer branding initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders to communicate culture, product science, and organizational impact
- Leverage recruitment technology (ATS platforms like Teamtailor/Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-powered tools) to enhance efficiency while maintaining human connection
- Maintain selection quality and metrics, ensuring data integrity and contributing to regional hiring projections
- Help structure the LATAM recruitment playbook as the organization scales
- Support successful onboarding and professional development of new hires
You will serve as a cultural ambassador for InnovaMat's expansion, ensuring every candidate interaction reflects the company's pedagogical passion and commitment to transformative education.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or talent partnering experience in fast-growth environments (education, edtech, scaleups preferred)
- Fluent Spanish and English (essential for daily interaction with international stakeholders and Barcelona headquarters)
- Knowledge or prior experience recruiting in Mexico and/or LATAM markets (understanding hiring nuances and talent pools in Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct active sourcing and engage high-caliber passive candidates
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable interacting with candidates, operational leaders, pedagogical coordinators, and executives
- Proficiency with recruitment tools: ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-based solutions, and key talent acquisition metrics
- Curiosity and growth mindset; valuing both analytical rigor and empathy with passion for education
- Desirable: Experience organizing talent attraction events, university partnerships, or employer branding campaigns
