Join FlixBus's People & Organization Digital Transformation team as a Senior HR Technology Analyst, bridging HR and technology to drive scalable automation and AI solutions across the employee lifecycle.
You will act as a trusted technology partner to HR teams, conducting process and technology gap analyses, identifying automation opportunities, and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements. Your responsibilities include:
• Partner with HR teams across hire-to-retire processes to challenge existing workflows, identify improvements, and implement solutions through HRIS, AI, and automation platforms
• Build, deploy, and maintain Claude-based applications and AI-powered internal tools, working with cloud and technology teams to ensure secure authentication (RBAC/ABAC), governance, and HRIS-aligned access controls using MCPs, APIs, and custom connectors
• Design and build AI and automation workflows using n8n, UiPath, Python-based automation, and GenAI/LLMs, with appropriate orchestration, exception handling, monitoring, and governance
• Drive HR Tech initiatives end-to-end—from requirements engineering and process design through build, testing, implementation, and go-live (e.g., HR service delivery model, HRIS security improvements, payroll transformations, HRIS migrations)
• Apply a strong product mindset to HR technology, turning business problems into scalable products and frameworks, including Jira-based HR service desks, Rovo Agents, and AI-enabled employee/HR experiences
You will report to the Head of Digital Transformation (part of HR Senior Leadership) and work closely with People Enablement Tech, FlixTech, IT Security, Data Privacy, and HR teams across all regions. The role requires collaboration across European, APAC, and US time zones, with a primary focus on a Berlin-based team.
The position is based in Gurugram or Bangalore with a minimum office presence of 3 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years of experience as an HR Tech Analyst, HR Business/Process Analyst, AI & Automation Analyst, or similar role, with deep, demonstrable HR and Workday domain knowledge across hire-to-retire processes (mandatory)
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, Business Technology, or related field (preferred)
• Strong ability to analyze HR processes, translate business problems into functional and technical requirements, and implement solutions across complex Workday technology landscapes
• Hands-on experience building AI and automation solutions using n8n, Python scripts, UiPath, and GenAI/LLM tooling (n8n certification is a plus)
• Experience building and deploying internal applications in cloud environments, including working with APIs, MCPs, custom connectors, and integrations to securely move data between enterprise systems
• Hands-on understanding of Claude/GenAI application deployment and enterprise security, including RBAC/ABAC, authentication, access governance, and protection of sensitive HR data
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo Agents, and BPMN, with ability to build service desks, portals, workflows, process frameworks, and technology-enabled HR services
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Mandatory Workday experience; certifications in Workday, business/process analysis, automation, or agile delivery (Six Sigma, SAFe, Scrum, PMP, Archimate) are a plus
• Comfort working across European, APAC, and US time zones
