Deepgram is the leading platform for Voice AI, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and production-grade voice agents at scale. The company has processed over 50,000 years of audio and serves 200,000+ developers and 1,300+ organizations including Twilio, Cloudflare, and Jack in the Box. Backed by a recent Series C, Deepgram operates with an AI-first mindset where all team members actively integrate advanced AI tools into their workflows.
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead Deepgram's recruiting team and own day-to-day execution of recruiting across the company. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a team of recruiters, set priorities, coach performance, and hold the team accountable for outcomes. You'll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers across engineering, research, and go-to-market functions to build strong pipelines and deliver against critical hiring needs.
Key responsibilities include managing the recruiting team's capacity and performance; running full-cycle recruiting and personally stepping into sourcing, interviewing, closing, and complex searches when needed; building Human+AI workflows into sourcing, screening, research, and pipeline operations; creating scalable recruiting systems and automation that eliminate recurring work; using data to diagnose funnel health and conversion issues; developing team members through feedback and career support; and coaching hiring managers on structured interviewing and strong decision-making.
You bring 5–8 years of recruiting experience, including demonstrated experience leading or managing recruiters. You have experience hiring across technical and go-to-market functions in high-growth technology or AI companies, with particular strength in recruiting for engineering and research roles. You're hands-on with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Metaview, and Juicebox, and ideally have built AI-assisted recruiting workflows or automation that meaningfully improved team operations. You're comfortable with rapid change, excited to experiment with new AI capabilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can think on your feet and learn constantly.
