AngelList Venture is seeking a Talent Acceleration Lead to design and execute a company-wide people development strategy focused on measurable skill advancement and craft deepening. This is a senior individual contributor role with company-wide scope, reporting to the Head of People Partners.
The core mandate is to move beyond traditional L&D initiatives that make people feel good but don't drive tangible capability gains. You'll own accountability for demonstrating what your best people can do now that they couldn't six months ago—with clear metrics and evidence of progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing development frameworks and programs that accelerate skill acquisition and mastery
- Identifying high-potential talent and creating personalized acceleration paths
- Measuring and reporting on capability gains and career progression
- Partnering with leadership to align development with company strategy and role requirements
- Building a culture of continuous learning and deliberate practice
- Mentoring and coaching managers on talent development best practices
You'll work across all functions and levels, from individual contributors to executives, ensuring that development investments translate into measurable improvements in performance and capability. This role requires deep expertise in adult learning, organizational development, and talent strategy, combined with the ability to influence without direct authority and drive change across the organization.
