Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Riyadh/Jeddah region. This is a hybrid, customer-facing presales and technical sales engineering role supporting Veeam's data resilience and data security posture management solutions across the Middle East.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team to secure and expand business with end-user customers, cloud providers, and hosting providers. Key responsibilities include conducting web-based and on-site product demonstrations, providing pre-sales technical support during customer evaluations, and delivering hands-on Proof of Concepts (POCs). You'll build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners, prepare Bills of Materials and RFP/RFQ responses, and independently identify and qualify business opportunities.
You will engage with C-level executives and stakeholders, advise customers on business strategy aligned with their infrastructure needs, and coordinate presales efforts with Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services teams. Technical responsibilities include demonstrating new technologies, providing competitive analysis, and offering technical compliance guidance.
Required qualifications: minimum 5 years as a Systems Engineer; hands-on experience with hypervisors (VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat) and Microsoft virtualization in large environments; familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS; fluent English and Arabic (written and verbal); comfort presenting to groups remotely and in-person; and willingness to travel 50% within Saudi Arabia.
