Veeam is seeking a Systems Engineer to support sales efforts across Belgium and Luxembourg. In this pre-sales technical role, you will work closely with the sales team, partners, and end-users to evangelize Veeam's data resilience and data security solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Positioning Veeam products to partners and end-users to support sales goals
- Managing the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as the primary technical advisor
- Delivering web-based and on-site product demonstrations
- Building and maintaining relationships with value-added resellers through enablement and joint meetings
- Providing customer feedback to the development team
- Spending 25-50% of time traveling to customer and partner sites
You should bring strong pre-sales experience with enterprise IT software vendors, deep technical knowledge of VMware Virtual Infrastructure, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Systems Centre. Additional expertise in data management (tape drives, storage arrays, storage networking, networking protocols) and cloud technologies is essential. You must be fluent in English, French, and Dutch, comfortable presenting to groups both remotely and in-person, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter mentality and willingness to leverage social media to grow the Veeam community are important traits.
