Forescout is seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to drive technical strategy and execution across the sales cycle, supporting revenue growth and customer success. This role combines deep cybersecurity expertise with consultative selling to position Forescout's automated cybersecurity platform as the trusted partner for securing digital environments.
Key responsibilities include educating customers and partners on Forescout's modern security capabilities and threat landscape; building consultative relationships as a trusted technical advisor; identifying security challenges and engaging stakeholders from engineers to executives; delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations both virtually and in-person; supporting technical escalations and acting as a bridge between sales, support, and engineering teams; managing proof-of-concept activities including test plan optimization and configuration; enabling channel partners in a channel-centric sales model; and maintaining current certifications (FSCA, FSCE) in designated technology areas.
You will work with the Forescout Continuum Platform, which provides complete asset visibility, continuous compliance, network segmentation, and Zero Trust foundations across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strong presentation and communication skills, bringing 8+ years of IT industry experience with at least 5 years in pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
Required qualifications include passion for cybersecurity solutions, strong technical and presentation abilities, experience translating requirements into best-practice solutions, ability to collaborate across distributed global teams, self-motivation, detail orientation, and a customer-focused mindset. A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is required. The role demands adaptability, resilience in fast-paced environments, and willingness to take initiative and meet tight deadlines.
