David is a high-growth consumer food brand creating high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods. Founded by Peter Rahal (Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR), the company is scaling rapidly and seeking exceptional supply chain professionals to join the Contract Manufacturing Team. In this role, you will own relationships with key co-manufacturing partners, serving as the primary point of contact for performance, priorities, risks, and escalations. You will lead quarterly business reviews and performance reviews, establishing clear metrics, commitments, and accountability. Your responsibilities include owning critical manufacturing KPIs—production attainment, OTIF (on-time in-full), RFT (right first time), throughput, yield, scrap, cost per pound, quality performance, and complaint rates. You will analyze operational and financial performance to identify gaps, quantify opportunities, and drive corrective actions through measurable and sustained resolution. Working in partnership with co-manufacturers, you will drive continuous improvement across throughput, yield, quality, service, and cost. You will develop deep understanding of partner capabilities, constraints, processes, and unit economics to inform production allocation, investment decisions, and manufacturing strategy. Cross-functionally, you will partner with Planning to evaluate capacity requirements; represent manufacturing partners internally to leadership; and collaborate with Quality, R&D, Procurement, Finance, Fulfillment, and Commercialization to execute operational priorities and product launches. You will build analytical models, reporting, and decision-making tools to create visibility and drive manufacturing performance. This is an opportunity to transition from analyzing businesses to directly owning relationships and making decisions that impact growth and profitability. **Requirements:** - Exceptional analytical skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate complex analysis into actionable decisions - Strong relationship management skills; ability to build trust while holding external partners to high performance standards - High motor and strong ownership mentality; identify problems early, drive to resolution, take accountability for outcomes - Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results through others without direct authority - Clear, direct communicator comfortable with difficult conversations, challenging stakeholders, and driving accountability
