Salary: USD 110,000 - 115,000 / annual

Blueland is a venture-backed, climate-focused consumer brand reimagining everyday cleaning products with safe, plastic-free alternatives. The company has diverted over 1 billion single-use plastic bottles from landfills and holds 45 granted patents. Products are available at Target, Costco, Whole Foods, and online, with backing from top-tier VCs and notable investors including Gwyneth Paltrow and Justin Timberlake. The Supply Chain Manager will own supply and inventory planning for Blueland's Marketplace channel, with a significant focus on Amazon. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is responsible for ensuring the right inventory is positioned in the right place at the right time to support marketplace demand while balancing service levels, inventory health, and working capital. Key responsibilities include: - Owning supply and inventory planning for the Marketplace channel, primarily Amazon, ensuring appropriate inventory positioning for sales, promotions, and growth - Translating demand forecasts into monthly and weekly production, purchasing, and inventory deployment plans - Developing manufacturing plans with contract manufacturers, considering demand, capacity, lead times, and MOQs - Partnering with the Marketplace team to incorporate Amazon-specific requirements, promotional events, Prime Day, and seasonal peaks into supply plans - Monitoring Amazon inventory levels, weeks of supply, sell-through, and replenishment needs to identify potential stockouts or excess inventory - Developing inventory allocation and replenishment strategies across Amazon and Blueland's warehouse network - Managing production priorities and communicating forecasts and purchase requirements to manufacturing partners - Coordinating with packaging suppliers on material forecasting and purchase orders - Monitoring raw material, packaging, WIP, and finished goods availability to identify constraints - Managing PO issuance and tracking inbound materials and finished goods - Partnering cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Marketplace, Finance, Logistics, and Operations teams in the S&OP process - Supporting new product launches, transitions, promotions, and discontinuations - Analyzing forecast changes, inventory trends, and production performance to recommend supply plan adjustments - Maintaining accurate planning parameters, item data, lead times, and MOQs in company systems - Driving continuous improvement across supply planning processes, tools, and supplier collaboration - Coordinating with co-packing vendors on build needs for pre-kitted marketplace inventory Requirements: - 5+ years of direct Amazon supply chain, inventory planning, or replenishment experience with strong understanding of Amazon channel operational requirements - 5+ years of Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, or related experience, ideally within CPG or fast-growing omnichannel consumer brands - Experience translating demand forecasts into production and inventory plans - Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and external manufacturing partners to manage production schedules, capacity, and inventory requirements - Experience planning packaging or raw material requirements and working with external suppliers - Strong understanding of inventory management concepts including safety stock, lead times, service levels, inventory turns, and weeks/days of supply - Proven ability to identify supply and inventory risks and develop mitigation plans - Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with ability to manage large amounts of data while maintaining accuracy - Comfortable operating in fast-paced environment and adjusting plans as demand, production capacity, and business priorities change - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex planning information into clear recommendations and actions - Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and hold external partners accountable to commitments - Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel required - Experience with NetSuite and supply/demand planning systems preferred
