Commvault is seeking a Subscription Renewals Sales Representative based in Milan, Italy to drive customer retention and revenue growth. This is an inside sales role focused on renewing existing Commvault customers within a defined territory, playing a pivotal role in the Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew customer journey.
You will maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the renewal sales cycle, assess their evolving environments, and present multi-year subscription renewal options aligned with their needs. Key responsibilities include identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities during renewal discussions, collaborating with Field Sales Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, partners, and distributors to deliver seamless customer experiences, and navigating challenging situations with professionalism.
The role relies heavily on proactive customer engagement through telephone, video conferencing, and email. You will execute follow-up actions from meetings, contribute to process improvements, and actively drive deal closure. Success requires strong relationship-building abilities, consultative sales approach, and proven ability to manage high transaction volumes.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 4 years' experience in renewal sales or inside sales, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, results-driven attitude with strong analytical and negotiation abilities, and demonstrated territory management experience. Salesforce (SFDC) experience is highly preferred. Fluency in Italian and English at professional business level is essential.
