In this role, you will define how Reflection approaches child safety, translate expertise into concrete enforcement workflows and detection strategies, and act as a critical gatekeeper ensuring open model releases meet child safety commitments. You will own child safety evaluations end-to-end: standing up and scaling review workflows, serving as the primary point of contact for content reviewers, conducting reviews yourself, driving model launch evaluations on novel or ambiguous cases, and partnering closely with Safety, Alignment, Policy, and Legal teams. Preferred qualifications include experience with NCMEC or IWF reporting, knowledge of generative AI misuse vectors, experience with hash-matching technologies, familiarity with age assurance technologies, trauma-informed support design, Python proficiency, and additional language skills. Note: This role involves regular exposure to explicit content of a sexual nature involving minors and potentially violent or disturbing material. Reflection provides wellness resources, trauma-informed support, and operational safeguards.
