Salary: USD 90,000 - 150,000 / annual
EliseAI is a Series E-funded AI company (recently raised $250M led by Andreessen Horowitz) focused on deploying AI agents into housing and healthcare workflows. The company simplifies renter experiences (apartment tours, lease signing, maintenance requests) and healthcare operations (appointment scheduling, intake forms, patient communication).
This Strategy and Operations role sits at the intersection of recruiting, talent strategy, and employer branding. You'll own multiple dimensions of EliseAI's hiring function as the company scales rapidly. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, partnering with hiring managers to design interview processes and evaluation criteria, mapping talent pools at top companies, analyzing recruiting funnel metrics, organizing talent brand events and campaigns, and collaborating with engineers and leadership on content and storytelling.
The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment, ideally with exposure to engineering, product, operations, go-to-market, or strategy. An undergraduate degree from a top university is expected; technical background is a plus. You should excel at relationship-building with high-caliber candidates, write clearly and compellingly, think analytically, and have a track record of taking ownership and driving projects to completion. This is not a traditional recruiting role—the company is looking for someone early in their career who learns quickly and has strong judgment.
You'll work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and company leadership. The role requires in-person presence at the San Francisco or New York office 4–5 days per week.
