Postman is the world's leading API platform, used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations including 98% of the Fortune 500. The company is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support enterprise customers across the Nordics region (Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark).
In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver technical expertise throughout the enterprise sales cycle. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers understand how Postman's platform streamlines their API lifecycle, improves collaboration, and drives innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
**Account Strategy:** Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges and pain points. Build relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, providing guidance on API best practices. Design and deliver tailored proofs of concept, demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and drive customer outcomes.
**Customer & Industry Insights:** Maintain deep understanding of Postman's capabilities, the API ecosystem, and industry trends (AI in API design, DevOps, API security). Collect and share customer insights with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.
**Marketing & Evangelism:** Represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars. Create and share technical content (blogs, demos, tutorials) highlighting real-world use cases and best practices.
You bring 5+ years of technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or related experience, plus 5+ years of software engineering background. Expertise in REST/GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle management tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern development practices is essential. Fluent English required; Danish or Swedish a plus. Willing to travel up to 25% across EMEA with occasional global travel.
