Fireworks is a Series D AI infrastructure platform (valued at $17.5B) that enables companies to build, train, and serve specialized AI models tailored to their data and workflows. Backed by NVIDIA, Sequoia, Benchmark, and others, Fireworks powers production AI across text, image, embedding, audio, and multimodal workloads.
You will drive adoption of Fireworks within the most ambitious and strategic AI-native companies as a Strategic Pursuits Account Executive. This is not a traditional sales role—you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to founders, ML leads, and product teams, helping them evaluate Fireworks, architect solutions, and scale production deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
**Technical Partnership & Execution**: Lead discovery conversations with technical founders and ML engineers. Work closely with Field Engineering, Applied AI, and Product teams to design tailored solutions, POCs, and fine-tuning approaches. Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights. Coordinate onboarding, benchmarking, and integration to help customers go live quickly.
**Deal Management & Commercial Execution**: Run structured discovery to unpack pain points and success criteria. Manage multiple concurrent accounts with fast iteration cycles. Structure and negotiate complex commercial terms. Actively identify and qualify new prospects through networks, events, and partnerships. Maintain disciplined operating cadence with your portfolio.
**Executive Alignment & Ecosystem Presence**: Own relationships with key Strategic AI Native accounts from first engagement through production. Build trust with ML engineers and founders. Nurture executive relationships. Be a visible Fireworks representative in the AI startup ecosystem.
You bring 7+ years of experience as a PM, strategic account executive, VC, or management consultant serving highly technical buyers. You excel at multi-threaded customer engagements, have technical fluency in ML infrastructure (open-source vs. proprietary models, model tuning, reserved capacity, compliance), thrive in fast-moving environments, and communicate effectively with both engineers and executives.
