As Strategic Finance Manager, you will own the company's long-range financial planning, integrating revenue, operating, and investment assumptions while developing scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic priorities and capital allocation decisions. You'll partner closely with the CFO on fundraising preparation, including investor materials, board decks, data rooms, and diligence support.
Key responsibilities include analyzing unit economics to inform go-to-market and investment decisions, supporting ad hoc strategic projects such as new market entry, headcount planning, capital allocation, and M&A evaluation. You'll help build scalable finance processes and systems as the company scales, and translate complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders and the board.
You bring 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A. You have advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with comfort building models from scratch. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. You thrive in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments and operate well with ambiguity. Experience with fundraising, board reporting, or investor relations is valued, as is familiarity with SaaS/hardware metrics and startup finance (burn, runway, ARR, gross margin). You have a strong understanding of core accounting concepts and how business activity flows through financial statements.
