Heidi Health is an AI-driven healthcare platform that has processed 73 million patient visits in 18 months and now supports 2.5 million patient sessions weekly across 190+ countries. The company is building AI Care Partners to reduce clinician administrative burden and strengthen patient-clinician relationships.
As Senior Revenue Accountant, you will own revenue recognition and reporting across Heidi's global entities, serving as the technical authority on revenue treatment as the business scales through rapid multi-entity growth. You'll report to the Finance Controller and collaborate closely with the AR Ops Manager to ensure revenue data integrity from contract signature through financial close.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning revenue recognition end-to-end, ensuring compliance with AASB 15 / ASC 606 across all revenue streams and entities
- Preparing and reviewing month-end revenue journals, accruals, and deferred revenue schedules
- Reviewing new and amended customer contracts to determine correct revenue treatment, including multi-element arrangements and variable consideration
- Managing revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations (deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, contract assets/liabilities)
- Partnering with AR team to ensure billing and collections data flows cleanly into the ledger
- Working cross-functionally with RevOps, Legal, Commerce, Product, Sales, and Customer Success on pricing models, deal structures, and contract terms
- Supporting external audits by preparing revenue schedules and working directly with auditors
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation as Heidi scales
- Providing technical guidance to junior accounting team members on revenue matters
- Contributing to broader month-end close activities and ad hoc finance projects
Required qualifications: CA or CPA qualified (or near completion); 7+ years in revenue accounting, technical accounting, or audit (ideally SaaS/subscription experience); strong knowledge of AASB 15 / ASC 606; experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments; comfort with ERP systems and imperfect data; excellent reconciliation skills; ability to communicate with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders; self-starter mentality in fast-paced, high-growth settings; willingness to push back on revenue risk.
Nice-to-have skills: Big 4 background; Stripe or similar billing platform experience; modern accounting/ERP tools (Campfire, NetSuite); HubSpot experience; SQL or Python for data querying and reconciliation.
