OpenAI's Enterprise Marketing team is seeking a Strategic Experiences Lead to design and build differentiated executive and enterprise customer experiences. This is a senior individual-contributor role focused on program incubation—developing new experiences, strengthening key customer moments, and creating principles and materials for scalable ownership.
You will shape the experience thesis, build and test the first version, and help determine whether work should scale, remain bespoke, or stop. Your initial focus includes launching a new flagship hands-on enterprise customer experience in San Francisco, developing executive and practitioner formats, and supporting strategic-account interventions requiring differentiated approaches.
Key responsibilities include identifying customer or business opportunities where existing programs are insufficient; defining audience, desired action, experience thesis, and success measures; designing and building differentiated experiences; building prototypes and testing critical assumptions before major investment; leading cross-functional work from brief through early launch; using customer action and commercial progress to decide program trajectory; partnering with strategic-program teams on scaling decisions; and turning successful pilots into clear principles, playbooks, and clean handoffs.
You will work across Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Research, Solutions, Design, Events, Operations, regional marketing, and executive teams. The role requires making clear choices, building directly, and staying close to work until models are proven and ready for durable ownership. This is a hybrid role (three days in office weekly) based in San Francisco with periods of intensive onsite participation expected during design and launch phases. Travel may be required.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in strategic programs, enterprise marketing, customer innovation, executive programs, field marketing, or related go-to-market disciplines. You should have personally built a meaningful customer-facing program from the ground up and helped it scale. You can form original program theses from ambiguous opportunities, understand enterprise customers and connect program choices to adoption and commercial outcomes, prototype and learn quickly, make hard tradeoffs, and stop underperforming work. You are equally comfortable writing briefs, facilitating decisions, reviewing experiences, and resolving launch issues. You create clarity and momentum across functions without formal authority and deliberately choose senior IC paths to remain close to consequential work.
