Infinity (operating as Labrynth and HubLab in Australia) builds AI-powered platforms that help organizations navigate regulatory complexity across energy, infrastructure, compliance, and government sectors. They operate as forward-deployed engineering teams embedded with clients to rapidly discover needs and deliver production-quality solutions.
You will serve as a Strategic Client Partner based in Melbourne or Sydney, responsible for developing enterprise relationships and closing paid discovery engagements that lead to customized software and implementation services. This is a quota-carrying commercial role requiring technical credibility earned through prior implementation experience, but it is not a hands-on engineering or solution-design position.
Your primary responsibilities include: developing new opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic partners, and events across the Australian enterprise market; leading in-person sales conversations and managing complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities from qualified interest through paid discovery close; explaining AI, software, data, cloud, integrations, security, and delivery approaches credibly to both business and technical audiences; using implementation experience to answer high-level questions and establish confidence without overcommitting; bringing technical leaders into the sales process when deeper validation is required; and remaining the commercial relationship owner across active engagements, maintaining trust through implementation, expansion, and renewal cycles.
The role spans three core modes: Connect (building relationships through your network, partner introductions, events, and in-person engagement); Translate (explaining complex technology in language that works for business and technical audiences); and Close and Grow (advancing opportunities to paid discovery, handing off to the technical team, and returning to close implementation and expansion).
You will travel frequently, manage several concurrent opportunities and active client relationships, and maintain accountability from first conversation through close, handoff, expansion, and renewal. You understand consultative sales, can sell a paid discovery process without pretending the final solution is already scoped, and know when to answer from experience versus when to bring in technical experts. You communicate with integrity, separating what is known, what is plausible, and what requires paid discovery and technical validation.
