Fieldguide is a growth-stage SaaS company automating and streamlining audit, advisory, and tax work for the world's largest CPA firms. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Bessemer Venture Partners, Y Combinator, and others.
The Strategic Account Partner is a customer-facing, strategic orchestration leader responsible for Fieldguide's largest and most complex enterprise accounts. This role bridges customer success, expansion strategy, and executive engagement—unlike a traditional program management office, it is externally oriented and deeply embedded in driving customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Customer Strategy & Expansion**: Build and own enterprise-wide account plans aligned with customer vision and business outcomes. Coordinate cross-practice initiatives connecting Advisory, Audit, Technology, and operations leaders with Fieldguide's product and delivery resources. Partner with Strategic Account Executives on expansion opportunity identification and execution.
**Executive & Stakeholder Engagement**: Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic coordinator across customer executives and senior leaders. Facilitate executive business reviews and alignment sessions that reinforce value, unlock sponsorship, and deepen partnerships.
**Cross-Functional Enablement**: Orchestrate internal Fieldguide teams (AE, ELT, Product, CSE, CS, RevOps, Marketing) to remove blockers, streamline delivery, and ensure proactive outcomes. Act as the integrated linchpin reducing friction and accelerating momentum.
**Operational Excellence**: Establish playbooks, frameworks, and repeatable patterns for managing enterprise complexity. Use qualitative insights and quantitative signals to inform strategic decisions and improve customer experience.
**Thought Leadership**: Advocate for customer needs internally, shaping product and roadmap discussions. Represent Fieldguide at customer events and industry forums to elevate brand and strategic value.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of enterprise account leadership, program leadership, or customer success strategy experience, plus 5+ years in audit, assurance, or professional services. You thrive in ambiguity, manage complex multi-threaded relationships at scale, communicate with executive presence, and influence without authority. SaaS, enterprise software, or professional services experience is a plus.
