You will own the complete sales motion and be accountable for meeting revenue and growth targets as you develop selected customers into durable, multi-site enterprise partnerships.
In this role, you will formulate account strategy, own the operating cadence, and build bottoms-up plans to win. You will identify which customers can become key accounts, cultivate those relationships, and expand within existing accounts. You will translate Gecko's robotics inspections, data, software, and engineering capabilities into measurable customer value and executive narratives.
Key responsibilities include: meeting revenue targets for a focused portfolio of high-potential U.S. oil and gas customers; identifying and qualifying emerging customers based on strategic fit and value potential; developing trusted relationships across site, corporate, technical, commercial, procurement, and executive stakeholders; collaborating with product and engineering teams to feed customer signal into roadmaps; and leading cross-functional capture teams while retaining ownership of the sales motion.
You will work in an office-first, customer-facing environment with approximately 50% travel to customer sites and corporate offices. You will create clarity on owners, decisions, dependencies, deadlines, and blockers across internal teams.
Required: 5+ years in strategic account management, enterprise sales, consulting, business development, product strategy, or complex program leadership. Demonstrated success growing complex enterprise relationships across multiple sites and senior stakeholders. Strong business judgment, ability to build account plans and value models, comfort with technical teams, and strong communication skills navigating difficult stakeholder conversations.
Preferred: Deep oil and gas domain expertise (refining, midstream, petrochemicals, asset integrity, inspection); experience helping customers adopt novel technical capabilities and displace established approaches; ownership of large, multi-year strategic accounts; engineering background or close partnership with engineering/product/operations teams; experience quantifying customer value through risk reduction or operational outcomes; startup or consulting experience.
