Talos is an institutional-grade trading technology platform for the digital asset market, founded in 2018. The company powers major players in the crypto ecosystem and is committed to advancing mass adoption of digital assets by connecting institutions seamlessly to the ecosystem. You will own Talos's most consequential client relationships across large asset managers, hedge funds, retail brokers, institutional brokers, and global banks. These institutions are at a critical technology inflection point—their existing OMS, EMS, and custody infrastructure was built for traditional asset classes, not 24/7 digital markets. Your mandate is to get ahead of their technology decisions: understand what each client is building, shape how they think about the problem, and position Talos as the obvious solution before alternatives are seriously evaluated. This is a high-agency individual contributor role. You will own outcomes for your accounts without a team beneath you and without formal authority over internal stakeholders. You will partner closely with the Global Head of Revenue and Global Head of Account Management, working in a matrix relationship with Product, Business Development, and Executive leadership. Key responsibilities include: owning a defined book of largest strategic accounts; building and maintaining rolling 12-month account plans with stakeholder maps, product footprint analysis, white space identification, and expansion theses; getting ahead of client technology decisions including OMS evaluations, custody transitions, and infrastructure upgrades; building relationships across multiple levels within each account (trading desks, technology, operations, finance, risk, C-suite); identifying and developing executive sponsors in new business units; running structured discovery engagements to map end-to-end workflows and identify operational bottlenecks; identifying expansion opportunities across product lines and business units; qualifying tokenization and digital asset initiatives; prioritizing expansion pipeline; driving net-new opportunities through the commercial process; serving as the primary connection between client requirements and the product organization; evaluating whether client problems are account-specific or indicative of broader market needs; representing client requirements in internal product discussions with specificity; aligning Sales, BD, Product, and Executive stakeholders around opportunities; setting agendas for strategic engagements and QBRs; maintaining accurate Salesforce records; and bringing competitive intelligence into GTM and product strategy. Required qualifications: 7+ years in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or client coverage at a market technology vendor, financial institution, or institutional digital asset platform; direct experience working with or selling into asset managers, hedge funds, institutional brokers, or global investment banks on buy or sell side; fluency in institutional trading workflows and digital asset market structure.
