The company helps organizations secure software across development, cloud, and supply chain without slowing innovation. This Strategic Account Manager role focuses on the West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona) and targets enterprise accounts in the Developer/DevSecOps and Cybersecurity buyer segments. You will own a named book of enterprise accounts, driving both expansion within existing customers and net-new pipeline generation through self-sourced prospecting. Key responsibilities include: managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through close; executing strategic account plans focused on expansion, renewals, and growth; leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles using MEDDPICC methodology; conducting executive-level discovery aligned to business, security, and technology priorities; positioning Checkmarx's Application Security and Agentic AI solutions; and partnering with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership to drive outcomes.
