Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business growth in the Vietnam market, based in Singapore. You will target and close deals with large enterprise organizations (5,000+ employees) in Vietnam, uncovering their cloud migration and operational challenges and delivering tailored Datadog observability solutions.
Key responsibilities include prospecting into Fortune 1000 companies, building and maintaining relationship maps across your territory, developing deep understanding of customer business models, and negotiating favorable terms on deals averaging $100k+. You will manage existing customer relationships while expanding into new accounts, demonstrate resourcefulness in complex sales cycles, identify business drivers behind opportunities, and maintain high forecasting accuracy.
You will work with a hybrid model, balancing office collaboration with flexibility. The role requires regular travel to client sites within Vietnam and other regions using various transportation modes.
Ideal candidates have a track record of exceeding $1M+ direct sales goals, experience selling SaaS or IT infrastructure solutions to large enterprises, and proven ability to win new logos. Business-level fluency in Vietnamese (verbal and written) is essential, as you'll interact directly with Vietnamese-speaking customers. English fluency is required for day-to-day company communication.
