Ping Identity is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the UK and Ireland region to drive net new logo acquisition in the identity and access management (IAM) space. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will own an assigned territory and leverage Ping's robust internal resources, technology stack, and global partner network to close complex enterprise deals.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing territory plans aligned to regional sales strategy, positioning Ping's cloud identity platform to enterprise customers, negotiating and closing complex contracts with partner support, managing sales forecasting and reporting, preparing subscription pricing and customer offers, and gathering customer feedback for product and marketing teams.
You will work with customers across the largest enterprises globally, including more than half of the Fortune 100. The role requires strong account planning, pipeline generation, and the ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with strategic buyers.
Required qualifications: 6+ years of quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software, preferably in IAM or cybersecurity; proven track record of closing multiple new logo deals at $150k+ ARR and exceeding quota; demonstrated success with strategic account and territory planning; experience managing large, multi-stakeholder deals; established C-level contacts in relevant sectors; background with regional, national, and global partners and system integrators; training in value selling and account planning methodologies.
