Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive adoption of safe, frontier AI systems among top digital native enterprises. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing complex deals with extended timelines and multiple stakeholders. You'll develop multi-threaded relationships from individual contributors to C-suite executives, navigating sophisticated organizational structures to build consensus and unlock new value streams.
Key responsibilities include winning new business and driving revenue within a strategic book of accounts, designing and executing innovative sales strategies to meet revenue quotas, and spearheading expansion by identifying new use cases and business units. You'll own sophisticated deal cycles involving technical evaluations and complex procurement processes, maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, and gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps. You'll also continuously refine sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks and best practices.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record closing complex deals with strategic accounts. You should have experience selling emerging technologies or complex solutions to large digital native companies, with the ability to navigate technical evaluations and translate capabilities into business value. A strong executive presence, demonstrated ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, and exceptional relationship-building skills across large organizations are essential. You'll approach sales consultatively, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor rather than a vendor, and demonstrate resourcefulness when facing complex challenges. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, high organization and attention to detail, and forecasting accuracy are required. A passion for AI and emerging technologies with alignment to Anthropic's mission of developing safe, beneficial AI systems is important.
