Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Select Accounts team owns Mixpanel's most strategic, highest-value enterprise accounts and operates a full-motion sales model: protecting the base, expanding within existing customers, and opening net new logos from a defined target list.
In this role, you'll own a portfolio of Mixpanel's most complex accounts—a mix of existing enterprise customers and net new target logos—managing renewal, expansion, and new business motions in parallel. You'll be responsible for building and executing comprehensive account plans that connect Mixpanel's capabilities to each customer's business priorities, anticipating multi-year account trajectories. You'll develop multi-threaded relationships from practitioner level through the C-suite, creating durable champions at every layer.
Key responsibilities include running regular business reviews that surface growth opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clean pipeline discipline in Salesforce, identifying and closing expansion opportunities across new teams and products, and prospecting net new logos alongside your existing account motion. You'll run a disciplined sales process using MEDDPICC, partner with Solutions Engineers on product demonstrations and POCs, and build pipeline across all sourcing channels: self-generated outbound, BDR, channel partners, and inbound.
Beyond individual account execution, you'll set the standard for how the team approaches account strategy, forecasting, and executive engagement. You'll mentor other Account Executives on deal strategy and multi-threading, and your account plans and playbooks will shape how the broader team operates. You'll also collaborate with Customer Success to ensure customers realize value post-sale and bring customer and market signals back to Product.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience owning the largest, most complex accounts in an enterprise SaaS book, with a track record of closing seven-figure-plus deals with 6-12+ month sales cycles. You've built and sustained relationships at the VP and C-suite level, used MEDDPICC as a coaching tool for other reps, and solved ambiguous multi-year account problems by building clear, repeatable plans. You communicate effectively across all levels—from practitioner to boardroom—and have a track record of improving how sales teams operate through playbooks, processes, and shared standards. Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site customer meetings, QBRs, and field events is required.
