Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform trusted by 29,000+ companies. The Select Accounts team owns Mixpanel's most strategic enterprise accounts, running the full sales motion: protecting the base, expanding within existing customers, and opening net new logos from a defined target list.
In this role, you'll own Mixpanel's most complex and highest-value accounts—a mix of existing enterprise customers and net new target logos—running renewal, expansion, and new logo motions in parallel. You'll solve ambiguous, multi-year account problems by distilling them into clear, scalable plans. You'll set the standard for how the team approaches account strategy, forecasting, and executive engagement, mentoring other Account Executives on deal strategy and multi-threading. Your account plans and playbooks will shape how the broader team operates.
Key responsibilities include: building and executing account plans that connect Mixpanel's capabilities to customer business priorities; developing multi-threaded relationships from practitioner level through C-suite; running regular business reviews; forecasting accurately and maintaining clean pipeline in Salesforce; identifying and closing expansion opportunities; prospecting and closing net new logos from your named target list; running a disciplined sales process using MEDDPICC; partnering with Solutions Engineers on demos and POCs; building pipeline across all sourcing channels; collaborating with Customer Success; bringing customer and market signals back to Product; and setting the standard for team playbooks on account planning, forecasting, and executive engagement.
You'll need an extensive track record owning the largest, most complex accounts in an enterprise SaaS book across renewal, expansion, and net new motions. You should have closed seven-figure-plus deals with 6-12+ month sales cycles, built and sustained relationships at VP and C-suite level across multiple stakeholder groups, and used MEDDPICC as a coaching tool for other reps. You'll have solved ambiguous, multi-year account problems with clear, repeatable plans, mentored other Account Executives, and demonstrated a track record of improving how sales teams operate through playbooks and processes. Clear written and verbal communication is essential, and you should be willing to travel up to 25% for on-site customer meetings, QBRs, and field events.
Bonus experience includes selling analytics, data, or technical products; selling to product, engineering, or data teams; building sales playbooks adopted beyond your own book; familiarity with land-and-expand motions in product-led businesses; and representing vendor perspectives in executive-level strategic partnerships.
