Tines is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead sales efforts across the Pacific Northwest territory, based in Seattle. This is a hybrid role requiring regular in-person attendance at regional meetings and events.
You will be responsible for prospecting and closing new enterprise customers, managing complex sales cycles, and building strong relationships with security and IT stakeholders. Working closely with a dedicated Business Development Representative, Solutions Engineering team, and channel/technology alliance partners, you'll uncover diverse use cases and drive adoption of Tines' intelligent workflow automation platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and building awareness for Tines solutions in your territory
- Managing multiple customer opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Demonstrating the capabilities and value of the Tines automation platform to enterprise users
- Collaborating with channel partners and tech alliances to identify opportunities
- Partnering with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success teams
- Developing repeatable strategies for new logo acquisition
- Delivering customer and prospect feedback to product and go-to-market teams
- Building a strong business plan through customer, partner, and community ecosystems
Tines serves leading companies including Canva, Databricks, Elastic, Kayak, Intercom, and McKesson. The platform integrates with any API-enabled service and is popular with security-focused teams due to its secure-by-design architecture.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, proven success selling technical solutions to enterprise stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO, engineering leaders), and familiarity with PacNW IT channel partners. You should have experience building territories from scratch, achieving quarterly goals, and collaborating across departments. Approximately 25% travel is expected.
