Instawork is an AI-powered labor marketplace connecting skilled hourly professionals with local businesses and enabling technology companies to advance robotics and AI. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Benchmark, Spark Capital, Craft Ventures, Greylock, and Y Combinator. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will drive enterprise sales expansion across the warehousing, logistics, supply chain, and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through executive alignment, contract negotiation, and smooth onboarding—targeting mid-market and enterprise clients with complex staffing needs. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging enterprise-level prospects through multi-threaded outreach; building and managing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities; managing end-to-end sales processes with a consultative approach; engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers on workforce challenges; consistently achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets (targeting $200K+ average deal size and 10 net-new logos annually); fostering long-term client relationships and identifying expansion opportunities; and staying informed on industry trends and market dynamics. You bring 10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record closing complex, high-value deals over extended cycles (6–12 months). You have deep expertise in light industrial enterprises, particularly supply chain, warehousing, distribution, or 3PL sectors. You excel at multi-threaded sales strategies, building relationships across departments and leadership levels, and possess strong executive presence with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You are a self-starter who works autonomously in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are proficient with CRM tools like Salesforce. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not required. Travel expectations are approximately 20–40% annually, fluctuating based on conference season and client/partner visits. For Illinois-based applicants, base salary is $150,000 with an eligible OTE of $300,000 plus uncapped commissions, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, flexible PTO, paid holidays, phone and commuter stipends, HSA contributions, 401(k), and employee discount programs.
