Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Account Executive focused on the insurance vertical to drive adoption of its frontier AI platform among leading insurance carriers and reinsurers. In this role, you will own a book of strategic, high-value accounts across property & casualty, life & health, and reinsurance organizations, carrying an individual revenue target and driving enterprise-scale deals.
You will engage directly with C-level and senior technical stakeholders—CIOs, CTOs, Chief Actuaries, Heads of Data/AI—to build business cases and value narratives. You'll navigate complex procurement, security, regulatory, and legal reviews through to production deployment and account expansion. Your responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing high-potential opportunities, running disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence, and partnering closely with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture, and Product teams to design solutions tailored to insurance-specific needs: underwriting, claims, actuarial, and policy administration workflows.
You will codify winning use cases and proof points from your deals, working with Marketing and Enablement to scale them across the broader financial services motion. You'll orchestrate cross-functional efforts with Customer Success, Legal, Partnerships, and cloud partners to deliver seamless customer experiences, and represent Anthropic as a trusted voice with customers and at industry events.
Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in insurance with demonstrated success covering carrier or reinsurance organizations. You must have a track record of carrying and exceeding quota in enterprise sales of technical, complex products (API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, data/ML platforms, or enterprise SaaS). Experience winning and growing strategic enterprise accounts within insurance, operational rigor across multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and credibility with technical buyers (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of AI/ML) are essential. A genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and advancing safe, beneficial AI is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience bringing generative AI or LLM-based products to large insurance carriers, deep familiarity with regulated-industry selling, experience selling with cloud and ecosystem partners (AWS, Google Cloud, systems integrators), familiarity with consumption-based commercial models, and experience navigating long enterprise procurement cycles typical of insurance.
