Okta is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive identity security sales across New South Wales. The role combines new business acquisition and expansion within the existing customer base, with a territory covering a mix of new logos and existing accounts. You will work closely with C-suite decision-makers to demonstrate how Okta's identity platform drives secure, seamless access across their workforce. Your responsibilities include defining and executing a clear territory plan with long-term strategic goals, leading a cross-functional virtual team (Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Renewals, Services, and Business Development), and driving consistent pipeline generation to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. Key activities involve building strong, strategic relationships with enterprise customers in NSW, earning trusted advisor status, and championing Okta's value through executive-level presentations and tailored demonstrations. You will establish yourself as a thought leader in identity, security, and cloud transformation, while representing Okta's core values: Love Our Customers, Always Secure, Always On, Build and Own It, and Drive What's Next. Travel to customer sites and key stakeholder engagements is expected as needed. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of field sales experience consistently exceeding targets in complex enterprise SaaS environments, with a proven track record selling to large organizations in segments such as Financial Services. You should have strong new business development skills, deep account planning and execution capabilities, and experience working with GSIs and partner channels. Solution selling frameworks like MEDDPICC and Command of the Message are preferred. Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
