New Relic is seeking a Technical Success Manager for its Public Sector team, based in the DC area (Arlington, Baltimore, or Washington DC). This is a field-based hybrid role focused on owning the technical success and post-sales relationships for government and public sector customers. You will be responsible for customer adoption, onboarding, and continued success across your assigned account base. Key responsibilities include leading all aspects of product adoption, optimization, and integration within customers' infrastructure; maintaining deep understanding of customer business and technical environments; conducting interactive product demonstrations; identifying upsell and renewal opportunities in partnership with sales; and serving as a voice for customer feedback to product and engineering teams. As a field-based position, travel is expected, with extensive travel opportunities available for those interested. Required qualifications: 3+ years of pre- or post-sales experience in software or direct public sector organization experience (government agencies, municipal departments, utilities, state/federal enterprises); interest in or experience with performance monitoring tools (infrastructure, application, web/mobile, user experience); strong technical background with sales/customer orientation; ability to learn new technologies; project management and documentation skills; fluent English. Bonus qualifications include familiarity with development languages (Java, .NET, Ruby, C, Python, Node.js, Golang); exposure to cloud technologies (Kubernetes, containers, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD); mobile platform background (iOS/Android); or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science. Note: Visa sponsorship is not available. The role includes commission eligibility as part of the sales incentive plan.
