Deepgram is the leading platform for the Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and production-grade voice agents at scale. The company has processed over 50,000 years of audio, transcribed more than 1 trillion words, and counts 200,000+ developers and 1,300+ organizations as users, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Vapi, and Daily. Backed by a recent Series C from leading global investors, Deepgram offers voice-native foundation models via cloud APIs or self-hosted/on-premises deployment. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will own and grow a portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts across the greater New York area. Your responsibilities include building strong customer relationships through regular in-person meetings, self-prospecting to develop a robust pipeline, and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, Marketing, SDRs, and Customer Success—to drive sales effectiveness and identify expansion opportunities. You'll develop deep expertise in Deepgram's STT, TTS, and Voice Agent products, understand the competitive landscape, and articulate clear value propositions to enterprise buyers. The role requires managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with large organizations and closing new business while supporting account expansion. The ideal candidate brings 7–12+ years of technical, full-cycle sales experience, proven success managing enterprise and strategic new-business cycles, and a track record of consistently exceeding targets. You must be comfortable building your own pipeline, navigating complex Fortune 500 organizations, and meeting customers in person regularly throughout the region. Strong communication, empathy, organizational skills, and the ability to drive repeatable sales processes are essential. Experience with Challenger or Triangle sales methodologies and selling technical products to engineering/product teams is a plus. Deepgram operates with an AI-first mindset: all team members actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools as part of their daily work. The company moves at the pace of AI, so expect rapid change and the need to adapt, experiment, and learn continuously. While there is no office requirement, the company prioritizes candidates who can regularly meet customers in person.
