Simile is an AI infrastructure company that simulates human behavior at scale to help enterprises make better decisions. Founded five months ago, the company has already achieved $200M in funding at a $2B valuation and counts F100 companies like CVS Health, Wealthfront, Deloitte, and Gallup as customers.
As Strategic Account Director, you will own the full enterprise sales cycle end-to-end for a category-defining product. This is a founding sales role at a company still writing its playbook. You'll define which verticals to prioritize, establish pricing for a new category, and build a repeatable enterprise motion from scratch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract signature, with no SDR handoff
- Selling to F100 executives, strategists, and research leaders making consequential business decisions
- Building pipeline through outbound research, lead generation, and event attendance
- Running discovery, building ROI cases, and negotiating terms for deals with no market precedent
- Structuring land-and-expand deals that create natural follow-on sales cycles
- Developing sales playbooks, decks, scripts, and CRM workflows as you learn what works
- Partnering directly with founders on sales strategy and cross-functional teams on delivery
- Moving fast: shipping outreach, getting in rooms, and iterating rapidly
You must have a proven track record of quota-carrying enterprise B2B SaaS sales with multi-stakeholder deal experience and demonstrated ability to close meaningful deals and expand them post-signature. You need strong discovery and storytelling skills to translate technical products into business cases for non-technical executives, plus comfort generating your own pipeline.
Nice-to-have experience includes founding/early-stage sales, category-creation selling, AI/ML fluency, and warm networks at Fortune 500 companies.
