Payoneer is seeking a Strategic Account Director to lead new-business development for enterprise clients in the cross-border payments and global financial services space. This is a quota-carrying hunter role focused on landing the largest, most complex enterprise logos—typically businesses processing $500K to $10M+ monthly in cross-border volume.
You will own the full sales cycle from target identification and cold outreach through multi-threaded, committee-driven evaluations to contract close. Your primary mission is displacing incumbent banks and specialist fintech competitors by positioning Payoneer's speed, global coverage, economics, and platform breadth. You'll break into CFO and Treasurer offices cold, build conviction across buying committees, and orchestrate complex, long-cycle deals involving Solutions, Pre-Sales, Product Specialists, Compliance, and RevOps teams.
Key responsibilities include: generating your own pipeline through disciplined, research-led outbound (direct executive outreach, referrals, partner channels, events); qualifying opportunities with discipline using Payoneer's Sandler-based methodology; owning procurement, legal, and commercial negotiation; selling the full platform (cross-border payments, Capital, Treasury/FX, Embedded Payments, Workforce/EOR); and setting up wins for long-term expansion by handing off to Customer Success with a clear growth thesis.
This is a strategic, centrally-seated role under Global Sales designed to build, prove, and standardize the strategic-accounts motion before scaling across regions. You'll work closely with regional heads of sales for in-market coordination and help shape how this function scales globally.
Required: 8+ years in enterprise B2B sales with a strong bias toward new business and new logo acquisition (not account management or renewals); consistent track record of hitting or exceeding new-business quota on complex, high-value deals; proven ability to self-generate pipeline and break into cold enterprise accounts at executive level; experience closing long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals with six- to seven-figure contract value.
