Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises to deploy AI agents for customer support and operations across voice, chat, email, SMS, and other channels. Clients include Avis Budget Group, Block (Cash App/Square), Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas.
As Director of Strategic Accounts, you will own the strategy to identify, pursue, and close large enterprise deals. You'll develop deep relationships with C-suite and operational leaders across customer organizations, understanding their business challenges and strategic priorities to uncover expansion opportunities. You'll work closely with internal teams—founders, deployment strategists, and engineers—to design and deliver tailored solutions that address customer needs.
Key responsibilities include developing account plans for strategic deals, forecasting and reporting on pipeline and revenue, maintaining expert knowledge of Decagon's products and the AI/customer experience software landscape, and providing product and strategic feedback to leadership. You'll manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives while maintaining a consultative, value-based selling approach.
The role requires 7+ years of enterprise or strategic sales experience, with a proven track record of growing revenue and expanding business with large, complex accounts. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to speak fluently with C-suite executives. A consultative selling mindset and ability to manage multiple stakeholders are essential. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Prior experience selling AI or customer support/experience software is a plus. Moderate travel is expected.
